Driving Instructors Near Me
September 27th, 2023
When you ask for Driving Instructors Near Me, we are the answer.
Allied Driving Instructors have Approved Driving Instructors (ADIs) in lots of areas. Darragh originally started with driving lessons in Swords, North County Dublin and covering the Finglas and Raheny test areas. Although if you are looking for a driving instructor near me and you are in Lucan or Tallaght, Bernard ‘Barney’ Martin will be the best ADI to help you. However if you are driving lessons Dublin City Centre or south centre and looking for a driving instructor nearby then Adrian will be the instructor for you. On the other hand if you are in driving lessons in Navan or Mulhuddart, Szilard will be the best driving instructor near you. He uses both manual and automatic cars on alternate days.
In addition to the core team, we also have associate ADIs in Mullingar, Dun Laoghaire, Limerick, Cork, Gorey and more.
Tests Required to become an Approved Driving Instructor.
To become an ADI we must be Garda vetted and have Tax Clearance so you can be assured of our legitimacy. ADIs are required to pass three stages of tests set by the Road Safety Authority (RSA).
Firstly we must pass an advanced theory test. This has some of the usual questions you would have done for your own theory test. But it also has some more difficult questions relating to driving instruction. Next ADIs must do longer, more difficult version of the driving test. This has more maneuvers and a longer duration. We are also allowed to make fewer mistakes. Finally, we must pass a test of our instructional ability. For this test one of the senior RSA testers sets two scenarios, pretending to be a learner and a part driver.
This type of test gets repeated every two years as part of our “check test”. However in the subsequent tests we need to bring our own students for a demonstration of a real lesson.
