Darragh Dunne, Manager,
Senior Instructor with Allied Driving Instructor and
Approved Driving Instructor with the RSA

I began working as a driving instructor in 2004, long before the RSA set up the Approved Driving Instructors. But added that qualification when it came along. Initially working under some well established and respected instructors. I set up Allied Driving Instructors in 2011 and plan on keeping it going for years to come.

Over this time I have help 1000s of people learn to drive; nervous and confident, new drivers and experienced, local Dubs and those from every county in Ireland as well as every country you could think of, people with every level of English, those with cars to practice in and those getting new chance of driving other than their lessons. I try my best to make the your driving lessons productive and pleasant. You need to learn to drive, but it should be an enjoyable process.

I have helped people pass their driving tests in several test centres but now focus on Finglas and Raheny. Lessons are available areas surrounding and including; Swords, Malahide, Ballymun, Phibsborough, Artane and lots more. Drivers from the City Centre sometimes need to come out to the suburbs.

Other services that I have developed for the team include intensive driving courses, which has become a speciality along with intensive, reduced EDT courses. I have also been doing driving lessons with transition year students in secondary schools since 2014 in conjunction with Irish School of Excellence.

PS. I hate having my picture online. Which is why I don’t make every student that passes their driving test with us post a picture.¬†While you read some of my reviews here, I’ll be blushing.
